The Weather Authority: Ida is no longer a tropical cyclone
Ida made its initial landfall across Dauphin Island early this morning, and it has since lost its tropical characteristics. Windy conditions will continue today.

  • Damage: No real damage to building structures. Damage primarily to unanchored mobile homes, shrubbery, and trees. Some damage to poorly constructed signs.  Some coastal road flooding and minor pier damage.
