We started off our day with breakfast and a tour a Bellingrath Gardens. I tried grits at breakfast! They taste was tolerable but I did not like the texture at all. The tour was beautiful and we took some very nice pictures. Then we had orientation. There we found out that there will be a name change! I was so excited to hear this news because I cannot stand having to explain to everyone outside of the JM world that this is NOT a beauty pageant. I am hoping the new name will go over well with all of the AJM supporters and volunteers. I truly believe the change will allow the program to get more respect, and hopefully, bring in some new sponsors. After orientation, we went through a wardrobe check and spoke about hair and makeup. At night we got to tour the battleship, eat a barbeque meal, and go line dancing! Today was so much fun and I still cannot get over the generosity and kindness of the Mobile community. Tomorrow we are going to Camp Grace!
