Today the 50 of us split up to volunteer in the community through the Junior League of Mobile. Some of us went to Goodwill Easter Seals while others went to Penelope's Closet and still others built a house with Habitat for Humanity. I was lucky enough to spend the morning with some of the cutest kids in the world at Goodwill Easter Seals. I was excited to learn more about the organization because my mom told me about how they paid for her speech therapy when she was little but really I didn't know much more about it than that. Now they mostly work with people with special needs to help them restart their lives and to be successful, teaching them to be their best selves! I had a great morning because as most of you know, people with special needs are very near and dear to my heart and it was such a blast! After that we went to a very long and tiring rehearsal with Gia. Blech. But then we got to go to a States Club Dinner with our sponsors. And I can't even believe how sweet my sponsor, Mrs. Tindell is! She actually used to be the president of AJM back in the day and she specially picked me because her daughter lives in Dallas! She is just the most wonderful woman and I'm so honored to be sponsored by her! (A sponsor is a person or company that donates $5000 dollars in a certain Junior Misses honor for each of us to be here). I can't even thank her enough for financially getting me here!
It's been such a great day but I'm kind of dreading tomorrow! And I'm also apologizing because as I get more and more tired I tend to shorten my blogs, so I'm very sorry! But I hope you're still enjoying these little tidbits! And be sure to chekc out the other Junior Misses blogs because its kinda fun to see other perspectives! :) Okay Goodnight guys!

Morning, sunshine. It sounds like Mrs. Tindell should be nicknamed "angel." Your mother did in fact benefit from Easter Seals growing up. My former supervisor worked with Goodwill national headquarters and really liked and respected the organization. Getting excited about seeing you next week. Whenever you see AJM from Virginia, let it serve as a reminder that your aunt in VA loves you. Aunt Patricia
