Today was Bellingrath Grath gardens day :) On our place settings were personalized flowers. Mine included a picture of a beautiful Iris of course. We were fed a wonderful breakfast with our host daddys and were introduced to the amazing induviduals who serve on the national board. We then toured the gardens and attempted to surivive the humidity. Some of us girls determined the true meaning of friendship after sharing sweat together! Next was orientation. This was something I will take with me from my experience here in Mobile. It really is amazing how much work and dedication goes into this program. We then proceeded to wardrobe, hair, and make-up. It was hectic but we have really cute outfits! My favorite part of the day came when we met our host families for line dancing after touring the USS Alabama. I had SO much fun dancing with my little sisters Caroline and Shannon. After dying my feet red from my $10 goodwill cowboy boots I was ready to hit the sack! Today was fun but tomorrow I'm excited to experience camping for the first time at Camp Grace considering my closest encounter to camping has been camping out in front of Best Buy for a computer. Needless to say tomorrow should be an exciting time.

God be with you for the camping experience. I know we are both down to "earth", but that does not mean "dirt". Our form of roughing it is staying in a Motel, not a Hotel. LOL. From the time you could walk I had to always keep an ample supply of wet wipes with me because you would literally cry if you got dirty. When you were about 2-3, you and Tyler were playing outside, and you slid off the slide into a mud puddle, and you cried continuously till Nanny actually washed your dress and put it back on you clean, nothing else would make you stop crying, and you never cried as a child. So Stiff up lip and Camp girl!!!! PS use your bug spray, it will make it not so bad!!!
