Sorry I couldn't blog before, I was sleeping over at Camp Grace, which is a camp that hosts various camp programs for children with disabilities. After a fun time with my fellow Jr. Misses on a low ropes course that baffled us all (haha), we met the campers of Camp MASH, which stands for  "Make Arthritis Stop Hurting." The kids were great fun, and so enthusiastic, and it was inspiring to play and talk with them. At night, all of the Jr.MIsses sat around a campfire and talked about who inspires them. It was an insightful occasion. When it was time for bed, I was completely zonked. This morning we ate breakfast at Camp Grace, and then went to rehearsal. Rehearsal is TOUGH, but its fun too. Anyone who's coming to Mobile, you're going to be surprised at the caliber of dancing. Seriously! We ate lunch with the Kiwanis club, which was a blast, and then we rehearsed some more. They had Krispy Kreme donuts at rehearsal, and what can I say...I couldn't resist them :) Later, we got together with all of our girl scout troops and had a pajama party. I got to talk to them all and sign their shirts, and I got their email addresses so we can keep in touch. I am very tired, but very satisfied, and just amazed at the generosity of the people of Mobile.

xoxo Gabbie

P.S. The food here is amazing...I had cinnamon sugar toast the other day, as well as grits and sweet tea, and all I can say is I'm getting the recipes.

Gabbie, It seems like you've caught the spirit of Junior Miss. It is such an amazing experience. Enjoy it all... especially the Krispy Kremes. And if you get the chance- try a corn fritter...my favorite southern treat! See you in 5 days! Love you!!! Susan
