I'm finally here! After an exhausting day, which included waking up at 4, narrowly catching my connection in Mobile, and the arrival ceremony, I am finally settled in. The arrival ceremony was very fun; boys from the ROTC program escorted us down the stairs, and we received proclamations from the mayor. We were treated like celebrities! I could get used to this... My girl scout troop was adorable, and made me a very pretty glitter sign, and gave me flowers. My host family is wonderful, and took me and my roommate out for Mexican food. I had a great enchilada! Now I need to go to bed, if I'm going to have ANY energy at Bellingrath Gardens tomorrow morning...
