Today, I worked with the Easter Seals/ Goodwill. I worked with little kids, reading to them and making self-portraits. I worked with a little girl named Abby, who was absolutely darling. She LOVED stickers, and put them ALL over her self-portrait. I french-braided her hair and put my hairbow in it. She declined to keep it, but I hope she remembers the braid technique I taught her! While at Easter Seals, I also met an inspiring young boy named Elijah. He was born prematurely to a cocaine-addicted mother, and, as a result, he cannot walk without crutches, and he has autistic tendencies. Let me tell you though, it does not make him any less wonderful. We played duck duck goose, and carried him around the circle when he could not run. His smile was just gorgeous, and very much touched me. After Easter Seals, I had another grueling, sweaty rehearsal (I hope y'all are excited for these dance numbers), and then went to the States Club dinner, where I ate dinner with my sponsors. They were so interesting, and so receptive. We had a wonderful conversation, AND wonderful food. (I seriously cannot say enough about the food here.) Well, now I'm back at my host family house, and I have an EARLY morning tomorrow.

xoxo Gabbie
