After filing Chapter 7 two month ago, is it beneficial to refinance an over appraised home?  The interest rate is 5 3/4.

There is normally a 2 year seasoning after the bankruptcy before you can refinance. I suggest you contact Center For Fair Housing, Inc. at 479-1532 and speak with them about reestablishing credit.
