A Historical Day

Today was a well-needed break.  We went to a Baptist Church in the morning where the whole sermon was directed towards the Junior Misses and recognizing us.  It was a beautiful church with a huge choir.  It definitely made my southern experience complete.

Since it was father's day, we also got some time off with our host dads before we toured Fort Gaines on Dauphin Island.  We later got to hand out on the beach, which was luckily not covered in oil and I was interviewed for the local news again.  It's so much fun being a celebrity!

Tomorrow we move into the Civic Center which will become our new home for the next week.  I can't believe the show is almost here!  I'm going to finish packing all of my talent clothes, so I will talk to you tomorrow.  Thank you again for all the support and good wishes.  The texts and facebook messages mean so much to me.  I can't wait to see you!

Love,
Hilary
