So, I was far too tired to write anything last night, but I felt guilty about not blogging so Im doing it this morning. Yesterday was absolutely incredible. I started getting pumped up for the show after lunch at the Mardi Gras museum, which was fabulous. Dress rehearsal went amazingly well and I was ready to get the show on the road. Before I knew it, I was doing my hair and getting my makeup touched up. Then I was on stage in front of a screaming crowd dancing in heels! I didn't fall over, which I was very excited about! Then, it was a quick change because I was the fifth person to perform talent. My piano piece went better than I could have imagined. When I saw my parents after the show, it was lots of hugs and kisses and sighs of relief that the first preliminary was over. Then I quickly was whisked back to my host family's house where I fell asleep almost immediately. All too soon I woke up this morning and here I am blogging. I am excited for the show tonight and hope my push-ups are good in the fitness part!
