I'm in Mobile! The flight in yesterday was a little hectic. After meeting up with Gabbie (RI) we flew from Logan Airport to Atlanta but, once we arrived we realized our flight to Mobile was cancelled...awesome timing.  Not to worry though, we were quickly moved to another flight and joined five of the other Junior Misses.
The opening ceremonies was so exciting for me when I was greeted by the trail mates in their bright hoopy dresses. The yellow dress was of course my favorite. I was then greeted by my host family, the Chandlers! Julie and Arby are fantastic and not to mention hilarious. Arby has some funny 'one liners' that I plan to bring home and use in Massachusetts.
After I met my housemate Maddison from Idaho.  She and I couldn't be a better pair. Who knew Massachusetts and Idaho would have the same dry sense of humor.

Today we visited Bellingrath Gardens which was absolutely gorgeous! Despite the humidity we successfully took plenty of pictures by the fountains and water side. The last part of the day was spent on the USS Alabama where we toured the boat and the submarine. We then spent the rest of the night line dancing in our western outfits! I personally rocked the electric slide.

I think the biggest surprise for the other Junior Misses so far is my accent, or moreover my lack of an accent. I saw a few disappointed faces everytime I pronounced my "r's." So here's a quick shout out to the Bostonians at home and all those tuning into my posts...I wicked miss you a lot, love MA Juniah Miss :)
