I'm finally home from Mobile! I am so glad that I have the opportunity to be a part of AJM, which is now Distinguished Young Women. I know that the memories and friends I've made over the past few months will last me a lifetime! Even though I didn't do well in the competition, I am still proud to be Kansas' Junior Miss 2010. At the end of Saturday Night, Madison Leonard from Idaho was named America's Distinguished Young Woman. She is one amazing girl and will do an awesome job at representing the program. Not only is she one of the best singers I've ever listened to, but she's also a real and relatable individual who's also intelligent and talented. Although I was sad to leave Mobile, I know that Junior Miss and all the girls from the class of 2010 will hold a special place in my heart.
