Yesterday morning all the junior misses got to pick out a pair of yellowbox flipflops (kind of a big thing down here), cubic zirconia jewelery, and a southern belle tee at Shoe Station. When we got back to Spring Hill Baptist for our last day of rehearsal there, Miss Carole (the head mom here) surprised us. We had some free time to watch a movie/sleep before rehearsals with Gia! After learning our last routine, we all headed to the mall for an autograph signing session... it was so much fun to see all the kids and supportive people :) I also found out my article was published in the newspaper, so if you get a chance, check it out! Today went by so quickly.. after breakfast and church (tried grits again for another "first time" :(, we toured Fort Gaines and spent some time at my host mom's parents' beach house. The pier was lovely and gave us a beautiful view! Then all the families and junior misses headed to the beach for a shrimp boil and sun. Today was definitely a good way to relax before this intense week of rehearsal. I can't believe how fast the days are flying by!
