Today was Be Your Best Self Day for AJM 2010. After arriving to every morning event as the last few girls out of everyone, Brina and I decided to be on time to our Junior League breakfast. Not only were we the first ones there, we were 30 minutes early. Commitment...now that's what I'm talking about!
We were given our community service assignments for the day, and my group was given to the Habitat for Humanity organization where we would help build and paint a playhouse. Meredith, Utah's Junior Miss, and I had a wonderful time making different sized windows and showing off our detailed flower creations. Our hand-stamped walls resulted in a sweet red streak of paint on my khaki paints, but it's all for the love of AJM of course!
Rehearsal today made me very, very excited for the show nights. Opening number is finished and fitness is starting to come together. The days are still fabulous and I'm looking forward to being ready by 6:00 tomorrow! Yessss...
