MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) A day after being reinstated into the NFL, Saints head coach Sean Payton talked to the media.

Payton was at Ladd-Peebles Stadium Wednesday for the Senior Bowl's North team practice. He was suspended for a season for his role in the Saints bounty program. Wednesday was his first time speaking to the media since the controversy.

Payton talked for about 40 minutes, and mentioned his meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

When asked about the bounty scandal, Payton said he wants closure.

"We miss that competition, that element of what it feels like when you're winning and when you have success, the butterflies and Sunday mornings. But I would say this, the interaction with the people that you're closest to was what I found that I miss most," he said.
