There were 12 ties and 12 lead changes in the contest. Rubit's tip-in came with 35.2 seconds left after Jordan McCoy made two free throws with 1:02 on the clock.
Rubit moved into USA's top 10 for career scoring with a team-high 18 points. Antoine Allen and Mychal Ammons added 13 each.
