Darius Philon sat on stage at Vigor High School agonizing over his decision. He says it was between Arkansas and Alabama before putting his head on the table for several moments. Philon then put the Alabama hat on to a loud applause. However, when the Tide announced their 26 signees Philon was not on the list. Philon reportedly was the last man out at Alabama and since they had no room for him he decided to sign with Arkansas. Philon's High School Coach Kerry Stevenson says today's events were hard on Philon but he felt good about the decision he made to sign with Arkansas.
