AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn coach Tony Barbee praises how rival Alabama is playing these days but is much more critical of his own team.

The Tigers have lost six straight games entering Wednesday night's meeting while the Crimson Tide has won six of its last seven.

Barbee says Auburn's having "a laundry list" of problems. He says he told his players after a loss to Missouri that "I'm embarrassed to say I coach this team."

Then again, he thinks Alabama might be as hot as any team in the Southeastern Conference except Kentucky.

The Tide has moved into a three-way tie for second in the SEC behind No. 2 Florida.

Six of the seven games during the recent hot streak have been decided by four points or less.
