Recap: Chicago Cubs vs. Seattle
Mesa, AZ (Sports Network) - Kyle Seager and Kelly Shoppach each drove in two runs to lead the Seattle Mariners to a 6-4 win over the Chicago Cubs in spring training.
Michael Morse hit a solo home run, Nate Tenbrink drove in a run while Robert Andino had three hits and a run scored for the Mariners. Hisashi Iwakuma gave up three runs on five hits with four strikeouts over four innings.
Alfonso Soriano hit a two-run home run and Zeke DeVoss also drove in a run for the Cubs. Carlos Villanueva gave up three runs -- one earned -- on four hits with two walks and three strikeouts over five innings.
This was the final game for the Cubs at HoHoKam Stadium after a 17-year stay there. The team will move to a new stadium next year.
