Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers have come to terms with outfielder David Murphy on a contract for the 2013 season, the team announced Monday.

Murphy, who had been Texas' lone arbitration-eligible player yet to be signed, hit .304 with 15 home runs, 61 RBI and a career-high 29 doubles over 147 games last season. The left-handed hitter finished the year ranked sixth among American League players with a .380 on-base percentage as well.
