PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) Municipal Judge Michael Fondren has ruled there is sufficient evidence against Adrian Orville Moore, accused of shooting and injuring one sibling and killing the other, to bind the case over to a grand jury for indictment.
On Wednesday, The Sun Herald reports Fondren set Moore's bond on charges of aggravated assault and murder at a total of $1 million and revoked an earlier bond related to a 2002 arrest for aggravated assault. In that case, Moore is accused of shooting another man.
Police say Moore shot 51-year-old Hardy Parker Jr. and his brother, 46-year-old Alfred Durden Jr., on Jan. 20.
Parker died of his wounds.
A motive remains under investigation.
Moore is being held at the Jackson County jail.
It is unclear whether Moore has an attorney.
