(TAMPA, Fla.) - Mitt Romney's tax returns and Newt Gingrich's business dealings are likely to remain at center stage of the increasingly contentious Republican presidential primary campaign in Florida.

Records released by Romney's campaign show that the former Massachusetts governor earned $21.7 million in 2010.

He donated a combined $3 million to charitable causes and the Mormon Church and
paid about $3 million in federal income taxes for an effective tax rate of about 14 percent.

A new line of criticism rising from the records is expected to be leveled at the former front-runner, who suddenly slipped in the polls in Florida after Gingrich's overwhelming victory in South Carolina.

In Monday's debate, Gingrich faced harsh questions about his own financial dealings, particularly over his contract with the mortgage giant Freddie Mac.

BORNINUSA, did IRAQ attack the twin towers or were the Hijackers all Saudi Arabian nationals on 9-11, pal?? Is it now the USA's job to enforce the 17 UN Sanctions? Huh, i thought that's why the UN wears their little blue helmets their brain child? I have never burned a flag of any nation dumbo! Glad you know me so well though! It sure is funny that RON PAUL garners more military support and dontations than any other republican candidate, that is a fact, one you seem to ignore though with utmost tepidness!! You want us to be imperialists and look what that has gotten us!! Tons of debt and no difference in IRAQ or GHANI Ville while we lost our young lads in VAIN over a political war... AGAIN!! What was it for? So that IRAQ could be consumed by IRAN once we left?? Complete vanity by you for thinking we are the beacon of light of the world. We are the laughing stock of the world. WE give foreign aid to china for free as we borrow to meet interest payments at the same time!! Now that's some VISION for a country?? give it up ole man and go sleep with your bayonet for comfort each night!! CHANGE is coming but ROMNEY won't be with it!! You might as well vote for the BIG O if you think ROMNEY is the man!! Laugable like you!! BTW Mcdonalds reports record profits today, Glad i got a matching 401(k) and am 100% vested with the GOLDEN ARCHES baby!!

Wait, what? Mitt Romney is rich! Who knew? I guess we're stuck with broke-a$$ president Obama. What's that? He's loaded, too? Multimillion dollar vacations? Darn, I guess I'll have to reserve my vote for the ne'er-do-well who can't remember to clock out for lunch at the Walmarts.

I case you missed it there was a event called 911. The Islamic extremists declared war on America, not the other way around brainiac. The leader of Iraq tried to assasinate a sitting US President in George H W Bush and ignore 17 UN sanctions that called for him to stop possessing weapons of mass destruction. He expelled the UN AEIA nuclear Inspectors from Iraq. Afghanistan was the home base and training grounds for the people that plotted and planned 911 smart guy. We took the fight to them and didn't wait until they came calling again. You're the gutless cowardly type that thinks that all the enemies of America will suddenly start liking us if we just ignore them. I consider you a treasonist enemy of America, spouting the exact type of rhetoric that the Islamic extremist spew. How many US flags have you burned lately Rebel? People with your line of thinking caused over 3,000 people to die on 911. You're brainwashed by the very people that would love to kill you for not praying to their chosen God and religion.

Nothing new here! just the same ole boring rhetoric from a follower and not a leader!! you and mitt are about one in the same. All talk but no bite! I still think RON PAUL is quite responsible and analytical unlike your analyse on everything!! We can't just keep starting wars we can't pay for? Or is that your solution BORN?? Just keep fighting everyone in the world we disagree with, We see what that got us. Iraq looks real stable now oh and so does GHANI ville too!! You are either senile or in denial but i think it just engrained mentality which you see the rosy side that you want to see, other wise your just another hub bub out in the streets!! carry on boy and go get your veterans benefits out the mailbox!! and you cry about entitlements?? @Rebel, Dude! You're wrong again. Last week you had your saddle strapped on Ron Paul and he was the end all cure all to America's problems and you predicted his victory. Now you've dropped the loon RonPaul like a bad habit and riding on Newt's back. You have no credibility fellow! I have been saying since 2009 that Romney would be the GOP nominee and he is the only candidate that can beat Oabama. BTW... Wasn't it you that predicted that LSWho would slam dunk Alabama in the BCSNCG? You're very consistent in your bad predictions little fella'.

I don't care how much $ a person makes and i darn sure ain't envious if they make a lot. So with that said, Mitt will say anything to get a vote and that has been proven over and over. NEWT is the only one now that can go toe to toe with B.O. Mitt will hem-haw with him and not try to look condescending to the President. But the PEOPLE want a fighter not someone who can just buy their way into the POTUS!! Before i liked Ron Paul b/c he was correct about a lot but NEWT is the only one with a chance to defeat Barry come November. Mitt is a moderate yankee who stands no shot in the SOUTH! BORN you can vote for him b/c of his pocket book but for us who are thinking beyohd bucks, NEWT is the MAN!! POP goes your bubble BORN!!

The fact is a poor man can't run for POTUS. Obama is reported to raise over 1 billion dollars for his 2012 campaign and very few people can compete with that sort of fund raising. Mitt Romney is the only viable candidate that can raise enough cash to defeat Obama and his Chicago Political Machine. Newt Gingrich has too much baggage and Ron Paul and Santorium are loons that can't get elected. If Mitt Romney would go after the bias and slanted left leaaning media like Newt did he'd win the race. The lame stream media controls the presidential election and they are staunchly behind Obama. As an example; Obama could cheat on his his Wife, beat his Daughters, overdose on drugs, sell military secrets to Russia and China and the media would never even report it.

$20 MM plus a year in income on interest, dividends and other investments...that puts his net wealth at between $500-750 mm. That puts Mitt in the top 1% of the 1%. I might have considered voting for him before but now it's obvious his run for President is nothing more than an ego trip. With this revelation there is no way he can win, in fact, I'm willing to guess his political aspirations are over. Gingrich has too much baggage, Santorum is too far out in right field and Paul is too old.
