GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) A 38-year-old Gulfport woman has been fined $3,000 and ordered to prison for 10 years and eight months for conspiring to distribute oxycodone in Harrison County.
The Sun Herald reports Regina Gail Walker will have three years of post-release supervision after serving her time in a federal prison.
U.S. District Judge Walter J. Gex III sentenced her on a guilty plea Tuesday.
Walker is among eight Gulf Coast residents charged in the indictment. The others also have pleaded guilty. Five will be sentenced next week.
The conspiracy charge carries a maximum prison term of 20 years.
