BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a 35-year-old woman is dead in an early morning crash in Birmingham.

The Birmingham News reports the crash happened Saturday just after 5 a.m. near the intersection of Interstate 65 southbound and Daniel Payne Drive.

Mark Stewart, deputy coroner for Jefferson County, says the single-vehicle crash killed Jennifer Alecia Fuller of Gardendale, a suburb of Birmingham.

Authorities say Fuller was ejected from the 1996 Ford Explorer she was driving. No one else was in the vehicle when it crashed.
