(CENTERPOINT, Ala.) - Gov. Robert Bentley is scheduled to tour two storm-damaged areas and discuss lessons learned from the killer tornadoes in April.
A spokeswoman for the governor says he will be in Centerpoint and Clay in Jefferson County on Tuesday morning.
That's where two people were killed by an EF-3 tornado Monday.
Then he will go to Maplesville on Tuesday afternoon to see the town's storm shelter,
where people survived the damaging storm without any injuries.
The governor's spokeswoman says he will talk about the need for more community storm shelters and lessons learned from the killer tornadoes that hit Alabama in April.
Bentley will also discuss recommendations made by the Tornado Recovery Action Council for how Alabama should handle future natural disasters.
