(DENVER, Col.) - An anti-abortion group that sponsored an unsuccessful constitutional amendment in Mississippi says it will try again next year in Colorado, Montana and Oregon.

The Denver Post reports Personhood USA unveiled its 2012 campaign Monday.

It has campaigned for state constitutional amendments defining life as beginning at
fertilization.

Mississippi voters rejected a personhood amendment this year.

It sought to ban abortion, and many physicians said it could have made some birth control illegal.

Personhood amendments have failed twice in Colorado.

momoftwo, Do you understand what logical fallacies are? Your entire post is an amalgam of non sequitors In your close you claim, "It isn't about ignorance,... it is about a lack of morals and responsibility". The irony of that close is overwhelming considering what you parrot above it. But hey!, never let reality cloud your perceptions. --- They just string a whole... hellalot of them and think they support their premise? I don't care how many $3 bills you tape together serially when you get to the end you only have $0. But, considering the geographic location it is, sadly to be too often expected.

People like this poster, Jason, make no sense. People (and that is what babies are) are being killed en masse and the public should just mind its own business. He is the type that would have felt the same way about the holocaust, Rwanda slaughtering, slavery perhaps? Why do you make a difference between a baby aborted for birth control and one for rape? Does the rape make the baby less human? Talk to some people who were born as the result of a rape and you'll see that they are just as human as the rest of us. There is no delinieation on humanity. Also, most teen pregnancies are coming from middle to lower income families whose children attend public schools and get more access to safe sex info than any other time in history. It isn't about ignorance, it is about a lack of morals and responsibility.

1st-if people would stay out of others busness, life would much easier. 2nd-abortion as birth control(oops i'm knocked up!)should be banned. but, if the woman was rapped? it's her choice, and no others. HOWEVER!!If all of you would help your kids by teaching them about sex, do's and don'ts, and make condoms more available, this would "kill two birds with one stone" and help with std's, teenage prego's, abortions would be very few, the list goes on and on. you people that think"oh, my daughter is too young!" need to grow up. HELLO!! when a girl starts her monthly cycle, SHE'S OLD ENOUGH!!my daughter is 11yrs, i have protected her by explaining what sex is, and what can happen. boys are very clever when they want something. as they come into puberty, their hormones go nuts. so they tell girls ANYTHING to do it. untaught kids don't know what their doing. would you let your 15yr old drive without proper training? no! then don't let your kids learn the hard way about sex. it is your fault they wind up pregnant. ALL YOUR FAULT and no others. i told my son, if he knocks up a girl, then it's his stupidity, because i taught him better. that is your job as a parent like it or not. to raise and teach your kids what they need to know to SURVIVE!! yes, i know the church is against birth control, thats their right. however, do you get in your car, drive 100mph without a seat belt?brakes?on a slippery road? just because your church said to? NO! protect your kids, it shows love, and that is what the lord wants, love. remember, to judge others, is a SIN! and that people, is what your doing, and you will be judged yourselves in time, by him. god bless

I don't understand some people- they think its okay to kill a baby but not okay to execute a murderer
