(BILOXI, Miss.) The Mississippi Commission on Marine Resources has fined four recreational fishermen for possession of fillets and red drum caught in federal waters.

The captain of the vessel, Alexander Fogg of Pascagoula, was fined $1,000.

The others - Holland McCandless and Andrew Lamier of Ocean Springs and Justin Goggins of Pascagoula - were each fined $1,000. Officials say $500 would be suspended contingent on no new fishing violations being committed in any jurisdiction for two years and with payment of $500.

Marine Patrol officers stopped a boat coming into the Pascagoula Ship Channel about 6 p.m. on Tuesday and found the illegal catch.

Time for the death penalty! Now that they are caught, can we spend our time and money catching the murderers and rapists?
