(MOBILE, Ala.)  Janey Galbraith, a long-time associate of the city of Bayou La Batre, has pleaded not guilty to federal charges of fraud following Hurricane Katrina.

Federal investigators say Galbraith helped Mayor Stan Wright in a scheme to use FEMA funds to buy property by changing or leaving out documents.

The mayor and his daughter are already indicted, accused of embezzling those FEMA funds. Wright is also charged with harassing a witness in the federal case.
