SEMINOLE, Ala. (WPMI) Firefighters are working to extinguish a woods fire in Seminole near the Florida state line. So far, about 500 acres have burned.
The fire broke out on Hunting Club Road around 1:30 p.m. Monday. It's threatening several nearby mobile homes, though fire crews are trying to protect them with fire trucks.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
This is the third fire in the area in the last two weeks.
