MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A local businesswoman will give the keynote speech at an annual breakfast on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
WSFA-TV reports that the speaker, Sieu Tang Wood, immigrated to the United States from Laos in 1972 and has lived in Montgomery since 1985.
She owns an alterations business with five shops in Montgomery and one in Prattville.
The breakfast focuses on the legacy of the slain civil rights leader.
