Washington County Inmate Escape on Stolen ATV

(WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ala.) June 16 - Washington County authorities say they believe a man facing drug charges helped an inmate escape.

Authorities say they are looking for David Gurley and Billy Joe Turner. Authorities say Gurley escaped Monday while working on trash pick-up detail, and they believe Turner picked up the escaped inmate on a stolen ATV.

Authorities say both were facing drug charges and will face additional charges when captured.
