Don't homie me you pompous POS...the only thing you're interested in is spewing you BS. You can stay up as late as you want and tell us about your good deeds. Tell us where you were early Tuesday morning when the dance was over...or where you were when Mr. Hughes was in trouble...or any other young black male getting shot or shooting another young black male...or the black girls cutting each other with box cutters. Tell us how you are preventing drugs from infecting the projects. Tell us about how you mentor these at risk young people. Then you can tell us why the violent crime is so much higher, Black on Black. I have news for you, as long as it stays that way it's a problem for the black community. When it gets to this side of town, it becomes a problem for the white community. That's a problem you don't want or can't overcome. All your smart ass remarks can't change that. Tick Tock the clock's running, now go talk to some of your homies and explain things to them...black is beautiful and tan is grand but white is the color of the big boss man and he controls the green whether you like it or not. Also look at the reports of the "rampant crime" in downtown. Most, if not 99.5%, is committed between people who know each other, who get in an argument over something (a girl, drugs their mama, etc.)and many have had the ongoing dispute elsewhere before coming to town. (Or before going anywhere for that matter.) Read all these reports and throw out those that are "personal" or those where one of the individuals was "disrespected" and you'll see that the random crime in no higher, even most likely lower, than other parts of the city. So sit in your fortifications and wait for the next home invasion coming soon, That's where it's really violent. OR, get out and enjoy what wonderful things we have been blessed with. Hmm you might even make a difference. And Homie - maybe you need to change your bedtime to help out. Most of the things I do for others is not convieient for me - but is for their benefit. @Oh Really, You're the one on here that is always typing how safe Downtown Mobile is and you're dead wrong. The fact is there could be a murder Downtown everyday and you would still spew lies about how safe it is. Apparently you have a financial interest in how many people visit Downtown Mobile, that is the only reason why you question other people's determined logic and advocate for visitors to Downtown Mobile. A MPD Officer's brother was murdered there last year and they still haven't caught the killer. I would surmise that that person/persons that killed the guy are still Downtown each day looking for new victims to rob and kill. I don't care how much you spin the truth and say that Downtown Mobile is a safe place to visit and be at, the media stories and crime reports tell the real truth, one that is polar opposite from your words. I know that you will start your "fears and scared" rants but nobody cares? If people listen to you or take you serious they will end up in another crime report and/or bodybag.
