(DAPHNE, Ala.) - Authorities have identified the man whose body was found in Mobile Bay Friday morning.
John Arthur Ethridge, 68, of Mobile, was found in the water near Daphne.
Authorities tell LOCAL 15 News they received a distress call around 7:30 Friday morning from Captain O'Neal Drive after a boat was observed circling in the water.
Ethridge's body was found about a half-hour later near a pier off of Village Drive in Daphne.
Authorities remain on the scene investigating.
