(MOUNT VERNON, Ala.) July 2 - A routine traffic stop in northern Mobile County lead to the arrest of three illegal immigrants.

Authorities say the arrest happened Sunday night after Mount Vernon police stopped the car for speeding and determined the three men inside the car were illegal immigrants. Authorities say it was also determined that the three men worked for a Thyssenkrupp subcontractor.

The men were taken into custody and held by Border Patrol until they were deported back to Mexico.

Border Patrol agents say about 25 illegal aliens working for Thyssenkrupp subcontractors have been detained in the past year.
