(TUSCALOOSA, AL) June 24-- If your son or daughter attends The University of Alabama there is good reason for concern.

New data from the Environmental Protection Agency finds that people living in Tuscaloosa County have a greater risk of contracting cancer from air toxins than most anywhere else in the country.

There were only two other counties that were worse, parts of L.A and Madison County, Illinois.  Also topping the list, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

The new data from the Environmental Protection Agency indicate the levels of 80 cancer-causing substances released by automobiles, factories and other sources in these areas exceed a 100 in 1 million cancer risk.
