ThyssenKrupp Development Brings Water To Creola

(CREOLA, Ala.) August 1 -- Steel plant ThyssenKrupp's arrival to North Mobile County is providing new opportunities for jobs and water.

At Four p.m., Friday, the city of Creola will celebrate the arrival of sewer service to the region.  Integra Water, a water sewer treatment company based in Birmingham, is upgrading its facility to accommadate ThyssenKrupp and the surrounding area's sewage needs.

Officials say by next year, sewer service could be offered along Highway 43, exits 19 and 22 off I-65, Dead Lake Road, Salco Road and Radcliff Road.
