(BAY MINETTE, Ala.) Jan. 29 - Officials beefed up security at the Baldwin County School Board meeting Thursday night, after a parent's threat.
Five patrol cars and at least eight sheriff's deputies were on hand at the meeting in Bay Minette. Officials tell NBC 15 News that a parent had threatened to shoot people in the foot, earlier in the week. The parent has had several run-ins with truancy officers, according to school sources.
There were no incidents of violence at the meeting.
