WALTON CO., Ala. (WPMI/WEAR) - A Walton County couple is facing murder charges after a mans body found on Beaver Dam Road in Mossy Head.
It happened around 9am Saturday morning.
Deputies said Haley Bowden, 16, and Chrispen Ramirez, 22, killed Arthur Anderson and stole his car.
Deputies believe Bowden and Ramirez killed Anderson after he confronted them for trespassing on property he was a caretaker of.
Investigators said the couple then attempted to burn the residence, stole Anderson's vehicle, and submerged it in water near-by.
Ramirez and Bowden are facing several charges including arson, and murder.
