FRISCO CITY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities in southwest Alabama are looking for a suspect who fired on sheriff's deputies.
The shots were fired Sunday night during a traffic stop by Monroe County sheriff's deputies and Frisco City police.
Deputies called Frisco City officers for backup, after pulling over a silver Corvette. Shots were fired between the occupants of the vehicle and police.
A Monroe County patrol car was hit, and it's believed one of the suspects was hit as well. A search continued Monday for the vehicle.
