(SEMMES, Ala.) December 10 - NBC 15 News has new information on a local student who authorities say brought a gun onto a school bus.  A Mobile County Schools Spokesperson says a 17-year old student at Mary G. Montgomery High School in Mobile brought a gun onto a bus yesterday.  Someone spotted the weapon and notified authorities.

The Mobile County Sheriff's Office says the gun was found today at the student's home.  Officials tell NBC 15 News the 17-year old brought the gun to school to possibly sell it to another student, but that the gun was not loaded at the time.  The student was arrested and has been suspended from school.  He has been charged with carrying a pistol with no permit, which is a misdemeanor offense.
