(BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala.) - State and federal officials will address Alabama's coastal community leaders on Thursday to discuss issues surrounding recovery funding from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.

Alabama's Attorney General Luther Strange will give an update on the state's lawsuit against BP.

Senator Jeff Sessions and Representative Jo Bonner will talk about concerns related to the potential diversion of restore act funds.

Gulf coast lawmakers sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder last week, urging the feds to ensure that recovery funds go to gulf coast states as stipulated by the restore act.
