PENSACOLA, Fla. (WPMI) The State Attorney's office has determined that an officer shooting where two suspects were injured was justified.

The shooting happened December 6 2012, in the Cordova Park area.

The suspects were identified as 20-year-old Desmond Phillip and 18-year-old Jo'Kavius Wilson.

Officials say Phillip and Wilson were acting suspiciously. When two officers tried to question them, but the men got in an SUV and tried to run them down. That's when the officers fired, wounding one in the shoulder and the other in the leg.

Phillip and Wilson are now facing charges, including assault on a law enforcement officer and vehicle theft.
