GULFPORT, Miss. (WPMI) A sentencing hearing is scheduled Tuesday for a man accused of lying on two gun purchase applications.

John Buster Jones was charged with two counts in August 2010. He pleaded guilty in July to one count.

Court records say Jones lied on applications at two different gun dealers in Harrison County in August 2009. The documents don't say who the guns were really for.

He was to be sentenced in October but his lawyer objected to the presentence report. The sentencing is now scheduled for Tuesday morning in U.S. District Court in Gulfport.
