(SPANISH FORT, Ala.) June 16 - The search is over for four teenagers feared lost in Mobile Bay.

The Coast Guard tells NBC 15 News the kids were jet skiing near Scotts Landing near Spanish Fort around 6:30 p.m. Monday night, but never came home.

Spanish Fort police, along with the Alabama Marine Patrol searched for the teens.  A search vessel from the Coast Guard's Dauphin Island Patrol also assisted.

A helicopter unit found the kids in the water. They arrived onshore around 5 a.m. in good condition, suffering only from mosquito bites and exhaustion.

The boys' jet skis ran aground after being entangled in weeds. Searchers say the waters where the teens were found were full of alligators.

Officials want to remind those who go out on the water to keep flares and a cell phone in a watertight compartment, which could aid in being rescued if you get lost at sea.
