(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) - Gov. Rick Scott says he's convinced the landmark federal health care law will not prevail at the U.S. Supreme Court.

In an editorial board interview Thursday with The Palm Beach Post, the Republican says he believes the challenges of Florida and other states will win at the high court.

He says, "It's not the law of the land. I don't believe it will ever be the law of the land."

Scott is a billionaire former hospital executive who founded Conservatives for Patients' Rights, which opposed President Barack Obama's health care efforts.

He says if the Obama administration prevails at the Supreme Court, Florida will implement the law.

Makes perfect sense. Why do anything that actually helps people. The cost saving to medicare users alone are not worth the program. The reduction of the so called doughnut hole has saved retiree's millions of dollars so far in other states. Florida should do everything it its power to ensure nobody ever gets help with any medical or financial issues. Gov Scott really does not like retiree's or the money they bring into Florida and he'd prefer they go to some other state and spend their money.

He has a 50% chance of being wrong...I think he basing his comments on the numerous civil and criminal suits he and his company faces while he was CEO!

does the governor have a crystal ball that has shown him the oral arguments, the evidence, and most importantly, the decision of the court.unfortunately,he will have to wait like the rest of us on a decision.we all can state our opinion on the healthcare law,but the positives in the law are far outweighing the negatives.
