MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Volunteers with the Salvation Army were out Wednesday morning, handing out food to storm victims and first responders.

They prepared about 500 sandwiches in advance of the storm, and said they could prepare more on site if need be.

"It may make a difference for someone in a devastating situation, hot chocolate or hot coffee. The Salvation Army provides services to make the situation a little less hard on the individual," said Cecil Morris, Jr., food and beverage director.
