(MOBILE, Ala.) The Small Business Administration will open a disaster loan center in Mobile County Tuesday.
The loans are available for residents and business owners affected by the Christmas Day tornado. The disaster declaration by Gov. Robert Bentley, R-Ala., covers Mobile, Pke, Baldwin, Barbour, Bullock, Coffee, Crenshaw, Dale, Montgomery and Washington counties in Alabama. The loans are also available for people in George, Greene and Jackson counties in Mississippi.

Opening: Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 8 a.m.
Hours: Tuesday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 19 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Closed: Sunday, Jan. 20 - Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of MLK Day
Closing: Thursday, Jan. 24 at close of business
"Businesses and non-profit organizations of any size may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory, and other business assets," said Tom Todt, SBA's Alabama district director in a release.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is March 11, 2013. The deadline to return economic injury applications is October 10, 2013.
