(SATSUMA, Ala.)   Search and rescue crews plan to search well into the night for a missing boater. The man disappeared in the Bayou Sara area of Steele Creek around 6:30 p.m. Sunday after officials say he jumped into the water.

They say he never resurfaced. As many as seven boats, including a Flotilla, a helicopter and a dive team, were deployed to find the man.

"We are still continuing a rescue operation and we'll continue it as long as we can keeping in mind the safety of these divers and the safety of the rescuers out there on the water," said Satsuma Police Chief Chris McLean.
