MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) The Red Cross has brought the next generation in emergency response vehicles to Mobile.
The new vehicle is considered more cost-efficient, more spacious, and has a slimmer design than the previous Red Cross vehicles.
The vehicle is here to be tested out in real emergencies.
"We have two of these made. They are touring the United States. They are being tested by our volunteers and staff to see how they will do in the field in real time responses, says Elizabeth Saunders with Red Cross.
The vehicle leaves mobile on March 11th, and continues the tour with its next stop in Biloxi, Mississippi.
