Public Safety or Prejudice? Alcohol Proposal Moving Forward

(FOLEY, Ala.) Oct. 30 - Foley Police say they'll go ahead with proposing a new alcohol ordinance, despite outcries from one bar owner who claims he's being wrongly singled out.

Sixto Rivera, the owner of Club Evolution, believes police are targeting his gay bar with the proposal to stop alcohol sales between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Police say they'll propose the ordinance at the next city council meeting. Rivera says he'll attend the meeting and continue to fight against it.
